Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our growing team in Lom, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move earth, rock, sand, or other materials. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing the equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator according to project specifications and safety standards
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient work flow
- Keep track of materials moved and maintain accurate records
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols on job site
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the equipment
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators in a construction setting
- Excellent knowledge of excavator controls and functions
- Ability to read construction plans and blueprints
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
