Metal Fabricator for Urgent Manufacturing Role in Akron


We are in need of a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our rapidly growing manufacturing team in Akron. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating and assembling metal structures and products according to blueprints and specifications. This is an urgent role, so we need someone who can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements
- Cut, bend, shape, and weld metal pieces using various tools and equipment
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces to ensure accuracy
- Operate machinery such as saws, drills, grinders, and presses to fabricate metal parts
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using hand/power tools for fabrication
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately measure dimensions
- Physical dexterity and strength to handle heavy metal pieces
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Own transportation preferred
