Executive Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Al Buraymi. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and presentation, as well as managing and training our kitchen staff. Your creativity, passion for food, and strong leadership skills will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that showcase fresh, seasonal ingredients and cater to diverse dietary needs
- Oversee all food preparation and ensure that dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all health and safety regulations
- Train and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles
- Create schedules for kitchen staff that balance business needs with employee satisfaction
- Work closely with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing a successful kitchen team
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to create innovative menus that appeal to a variety of tastes
- Strong communication skills to effectively train and manage staff
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field is preferred
Salary: 1700$ per month
Contract job: This is a contract position with the potential for renewal based on performance.
Experience required: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role.
Accommodation: This position does not include accommodation. Candidates must have their own housing arrangements.
Nationality/Location: This position is open to candidates of all nationalities, but preference will be given to Indian applicants. The job is based in Al Buraymi, so candidates must be willing to relocate or already reside in the area.
Language: Fluency in English is required for this position.
