Part-Time Tutor

We are currently hiring a Part-Time Tutor to join our team in Bungoma. This position is open to both Canadians and Kenyans. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support to students in various subjects. This is a part-time role, with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Create lesson plans and curriculum to meet the needs of individual students
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in person or online
- Assess student's strengths and weaknesses and provide personalized instruction accordingly
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop strategies for academic improvement
- Maintain records of student progress and tutoring sessions

Requirements:
- Previous tutoring experience is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge in one or more subject areas (e.g. Math, English, Science)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts in a simple manner
- Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and ages
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, college degree is an asset
