Power Engineer
Location: Mombasa, Kenya
Salary: $1100 per month


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Engineer to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining electrical power systems and equipment for various industrial and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing electrical power systems for new projects
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for potential power projects
- Performing system testing and troubleshooting to ensure efficient operation
- Monitoring and maintaining power equipment, including generators, transformers, switchgear, etc.
- Collaborating with other engineers and project managers to ensure project deadlines are met
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Providing technical support to clients and addressing any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in power engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles, codes, standards and regulations
- Proficiency in computer aided design (CAD) software for creating schematics and blueprints
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills
