IT Manager


We are hiring an experienced and dynamic IT Manager to oversee our company's technology operations in Akron. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our information technology systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security. Your role will involve developing and implementing IT strategies to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our business operations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies to support our company's goals and objectives
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all hardware and software systems
- Manage network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Ensure data security by implementing appropriate security protocols and procedures
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology and recommend upgrades or new systems as needed
- Train staff on proper use of technology systems and assist with technical support when necessary
- Manage relationships with external vendors for IT-related services or products
- Create and maintain documentation relating to IT policies, procedures, and user guides

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in information technology management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network administration (Cisco certification is a plus)
- Experience with system backup/recovery protocols
- Knowledge of web development languages (HTML/CSS) is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-tech-savvy individuals
- Strong problem-solving skills
Salary: $900 per month
