Florist Assistant


We are a busy and well-established floral design studio located in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Florist Assistant to join our team. As a Florist Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced florists to create beautiful floral arrangements for various events and occasions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a love for flowers and a desire to learn and grow in the field of floral design. This position does not require prior experience, but strong attention to detail, creativity, and willingness to learn is a must. This is a full-time position with salary starting at $1500 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist florists in preparing flowers, greenery, and other materials for arrangements
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio
- Help with basic administrative tasks such as answering phones and taking orders
- Participate in consultations with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Create small arrangements under the guidance of senior florists
- Assist with event set-up and delivery of arrangements if needed
- Continuously learn about new floral techniques, trends, and products

Requirements:
- Passion for flowers and an eye for design
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings when needed (especially during peak seasons)
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs and stand for extended periods of time
