We are currently seeking a skilled Turner to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery used for shaping and cutting metal materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of lathe machines, drills, grinders, and other metalworking equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the specifications of the project
- Measure and mark the metal materials to be cut or shaped
- Set up the machines according to the specifications and make necessary adjustments throughout the process
- Monitor the progress of the project and make any necessary modifications
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for accuracy and defects
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as a Turner or in a similar role
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy machinery for long periods of time
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
