Office Assistant - Ajman, UAE


We are seeking a motivated and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Ajman, UAE. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and have previous experience as an office assistant.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff
- Keep track of office expenses and prepare expense reports
- Assist in preparing documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Maintain filing systems both physical and electronic
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, data entry, and record keeping
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an Office Assistant or Secretary are a plus
- Proven work experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn new software programs quickly
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail with strong multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Pakistani or Malayalee nationality preferred but not required

Salary: AED 1000 per month
