Construction Project Manager
A construction project manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the various phases of a construction project from start to finish. They must ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets all quality standards. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as strong leadership abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Monitor progress and address any issues or delays that may arise
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors
- Prepare progress reports for upper management
- Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and safety protocols are being followed
- Manage contracts and negotiate with suppliers for materials and services
- Review technical drawings and plans to identify potential problems or improvements
- Provide guidance and support to project team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety protocols
- Proficiency in project management software
- Ability to read technical drawings and plans
Salary: $1600/month
