Junior JAVA Developer


We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior JAVA Developer to join our team in Washington, D.C. As a Junior JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using JAVA programming language. You will work closely with senior developers and project managers to design, code, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code in JAVA
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Stay updated on latest trends and advancements in JAVA development
- Work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in JAVA programming language
- Knowledge of object-oriented design principles
- Familiarity with Spring Framework and Hibernate
- Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
