Skilled Glazier in Utena, Lithuania
We are hiring a skilled Glazier to join our team in Utena, Lithuania. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for cutting, installing, and replacing glass in various structures such as windows, doors, and skylights. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in glass cutting and installation, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass according to specifications
- Install glass into frames using putty or other adhesives
- Replace broken or damaged glass
- Install weather stripping and seals around windows and doors
- Work with different types of glass such as laminated, tempered, or insulated
- Ensure proper safety protocols are followed while working with glass
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Glazier or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of glass and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints and measurements accurately
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (glass panes)
- Biometric passport (for non-Lithuanian citizens)
- Good communication skills in English (basic knowledge is acceptable)
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Contract: This is a contract job for an initial period of 6 months with the possibility of extension.
