Remote DevOps Developer


We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Developer to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining complex, cloud-based infrastructure and applications. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for automating deployment processes, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and methodologies
- Automate deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of applications
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve them
- Continuously improve and optimize existing systems to increase reliability, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with developers to ensure proper integration of code into production environment
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and programming languages (Java, C++)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and containerization technologies (Docker)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as New Relic or Datadog
- Proven track record of successfully implementing DevOps solutions in a production environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1700 per month (based on experience)

City: Washington
