Data Mining Analyst
The Data Mining Analyst will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of complex data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will help inform business decisions. They will use various software programs and techniques to extract and organize data from multiple sources, and then perform statistical analysis and develop predictive models. This role requires a strong understanding of data mining concepts, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in a relevant field such as statistics or computer science, and at least 2 years of experience in data mining or a related field. They should also have experience working with databases, SQL, and programming languages like R or Python. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Identify patterns and trends in large datasets using data mining techniques
- Develop predictive models to aid in decision-making processes
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide insights based on data analysis
- Collect, clean, organize, and analyze data from various sources
- Communicate findings to stakeholders through reports, visualizations, and presentations
- Continuously monitor model performance and make necessary adjustments to improve accuracy
- Stay informed on industry best practices for data mining and implement them in daily work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data mining or a related field
- Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, programming languages (R/Python), and statistical analysis methods
- Experience with machine learning algorithms is a plus
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
