Machine Operator for Manufacturing Company in Nizwa, Oman


We are a manufacturing company based in Nizwa, Oman and we are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining various types of machines to produce high-quality products. This position does not require English proficiency and is open to Indian nationals.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, grinders and presses to perform production operations
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure smooth functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production output
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of machine tools and their functions (e.g. lathe, milling machine)
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and strength for standing, lifting, and operating machinery for extended periods of time
- Indian nationality preferred
- Must have valid visa sponsorship
