Florist Assistant


Our flower shop in Akron is seeking a talented and motivated Florist Assistant to join our team. As a Florist Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced florists to create beautiful floral arrangements, assist with customer orders and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with designing and creating floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, funerals, etc.
- Ensure all flowers are properly cared for and maintained to ensure freshness and quality
- Assist with taking orders from customers, answering phone calls and inquiries
- Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies, place orders when necessary
- Keep the shop clean and organized at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, assisting them with their needs and recommending appropriate floral arrangements
- Assist in training new employees or interns

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a florist shop or related field is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants and their care requirements
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Availability to work weekends and holidays

This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time employment. Applicants must be Egyptian nationals or have the legal right to work in Egypt. This position does not include accommodation.
