Indian Executive Chef in Hawalli, Kuwait
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Hawalli, Kuwait. As our Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
- Oversee and manage all kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Control food costs by managing inventory levels, portion sizes, and waste
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to source the freshest ingredients
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred but open to other nationalities with experience in Indian cuisine
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and culinary techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Experience working in the Middle East is preferred
