Seamstress for Clothing Company in Malindi, Kenya


We are a well-established clothing company in Malindi, Kenya, looking for a skilled and experienced Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality garments using various fabrics and materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month, and we welcome applications from Indian nationals.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and sew fabric to create garments according to specifications
- Follow patterns and instructions to ensure consistency in garment production
- Perform alterations and repairs on existing garments as needed
- Select appropriate fabrics and materials for each garment based on design and function
- Operate industrial sewing machines and other tools effectively and safely
- Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a productive working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or similar role in the fashion industry
- Proficient in using industrial sewing machines and other tools
- Knowledge of different types of fabrics, their properties, and how to work with them
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good time-management skills to meet production deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
