Excavator Operator


We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Eldoret. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
- Dig trenches, foundations, and other excavations according to specifications
- Load and move materials using the excavator
- Operate attachments such as hammers, buckets, and grapples
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations on job site
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating an excavator
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong understanding of excavation techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to read plans and blueprints
- Physically fit to perform manual labor as required on job site
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment (e.g. bulldozers, loaders)
- Experience working on construction sites or similar environments
- Knowledge of basic mechanical principles for troubleshooting minor issues with equipment
