Preservation Architect


We are hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in Atlanta. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. Your duties will include conducting site visits, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Knowledge of historic preservation guidelines and standards
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to assess the condition of historic buildings
- Create preservation plans that comply with local regulations and guidelines
- Work with contractors to oversee restoration projects and ensure quality control
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and vision for the project
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation work
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and techniques in preservation architecture

Salary:
Compensation for this position is $1800 per month.
