Hotel Sales Manager


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Shan, India. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue by developing and implementing strategic plans to attract new business and retain existing clients. Your role will involve identifying potential clients, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the hotel
- Identify potential clients and proactively reach out to them to promote the hotel's services and facilities
- Negotiate contracts and rates with corporate clients, travel agents, and other partners
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts through regular communication and personalized service
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities
- Coordinate with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to ensure smooth execution of sales plans
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities for management review
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
- Attend industry events, trade shows, conferences, etc. to network with potential clients and promote the hotel

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales management role with a proven track record of achieving targets
- Excellent communication skills in English (Malayalam proficiency is a plus)
- Strong negotiation skills with ability to close deals effectively
- Familiarity with software such as Opera PMS or similar hotel reservation systems is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends when required
