Pastry Chef
Our luxury hotel in Eschen is seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our guests. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for food will help us elevate our dining experience and leave a lasting impression on our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and execute pastry menus for all outlets of the hotel
- Develop new recipes and menu items based on seasonal ingredients and guest preferences
- Oversee the production and presentation of all pastries, desserts, and breads
- Ensure high quality standards are met in terms of taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Manage inventory of pastry supplies and ingredients
- Train and supervise junior pastry staff members
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
- Comply with food safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of different types of pastries, baking techniques, and flavor combinations
- Ability to create visually appealing desserts that are also delicious in taste
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other kitchen staff members
Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
City: Eschen (open to candidates from Canada)
