Preservation Architect - Mauren, India
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Mauren, India. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while ensuring they meet modern safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration work
- Developing preservation plans and proposals for clients, including timelines, budgets, and material requirements
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure preservation work meets all safety standards and regulations
- Overseeing preservation projects from start to finish, including managing budgets and timelines
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Providing guidance and support to junior architects and interns on preservation techniques and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation or conservation
- At least 5 years of experience as a Preservation Architect, preferably in India or within the South Asian region
- Extensive knowledge of historic preservation techniques and materials
- Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other design software
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary:
Salary for this position is 1000$ per month. Additional benefits may include accommodation.
