Head Baker
As the Head Baker for our bakery in Shan, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the baking process and leading a team of bakers. Your main goal will be to ensure that our bakery consistently produces high-quality baked goods that meet our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of bakers, assigning tasks and ensuring their productivity
- Create and implement baking recipes and techniques to produce a variety of high-quality products
- Monitor ingredient inventory and place orders as needed to maintain an adequate supply
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, following all food safety guidelines
- Oversee the baking process from start to finish, including preparation, mixing, shaping, baking, and finishing
- Train new bakers on techniques, recipes, and company procedures
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Continuously evaluate product quality and make necessary adjustments to recipes or processes as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different types of flour, yeast, sugar, and other baking ingredients
- Familiarity with baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, etc.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and create new ones when needed
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards for product quality
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
We offer competitive salary of 1100$ per month along with accommodation. Visa sponsorship may also be provided for the right candidate.
