Junior Database Administrator


We are a fast-growing company in the city of Izhevsk, looking for a Junior Database Administrator to join our team. As a Junior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, performance, and security of our company's databases. This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals without prior experience in database administration.

Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring database software
- Monitoring and optimizing database performance
- Troubleshooting and resolving database issues
- Implementing backup and recovery procedures
- Ensuring database security and data integrity
- Collaborating with other teams to support their database needs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS RDS)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash)
- Certification in database administration (e.g. Oracle Certified Associate)

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1000$. We also offer opportunities for growth within the company.

Location:
This job is located in Izhevsk, but we welcome candidates from all over India who are willing to relocate.

Please note that this position does not require any previous work experience or biometric passport. We welcome students who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in the field of database administration.
