Hotel Sales Manager
The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing all sales aspects of the hotel, including developing and implementing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and building relationships with clients. This role is based in Bungoma and is ideal for individuals who have a strong background in sales within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Manage the sales team to ensure they are meeting their individual targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify new potential clients
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities for the hotel
- Create attractive packages and promotions to drive sales
- Coordinate with other departments within the hotel to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operation
- Monitor competitor activities and make necessary adjustments to stay competitive in the market
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports on sales performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales, preferably in a managerial role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a similar position
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively
- Knowledge of local market trends, competitors, and potential clients in Bungoma area preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Salary: $900 per month
