Data Mining Specialist

As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and insights. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement data mining strategies that support business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use data mining tools and techniques to extract information from large databases
- Analyze data sets using statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective data mining strategies
- Develop and maintain databases for storing data used in analysis
- Present findings in visual or written reports that are easy for non-technical audiences to understand
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data mining methods, making recommendations for improvements as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data mining or related field
- Strong proficiency with SQL or other programming languages for querying large databases
- Familiarity with statistical analysis software such as R or SAS
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with biometric passport data is a plus
- Prior experience in the financial industry is also desirable

Salary: $1800/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Mauren, India (accommodation provided if needed)
