Preservation Architect - St. Petersburg, Russia



We are currently hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in the beautiful city of St. Petersburg, Russia. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in accordance with local regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting thorough inspections of historical buildings, identifying areas in need of preservation or restoration
- Developing preservation plans and strategies for each project, taking into consideration the building's historical significance and cultural value
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure proper execution of preservation plans
- Using specialized techniques and materials to restore damaged or deteriorated architectural features
- Conducting research on the history and architectural style of each building to inform preservation decisions
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all preservation projects

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Preservation Architect
- Strong knowledge of historical preservation techniques and materials
- Familiarity with local regulations and international standards for preserving historical buildings
- Excellent research skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

This is a contract position with a salary of $1800 per month. Accommodation will not be provided, so candidates must be able to secure their own housing. This job is open to all nationalities, but proficiency in English is preferred.
