Preservation Architect



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in St-Petersburg. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their structural integrity and historical significance are maintained.

Responsibilities:

- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their current condition
- Developing preservation plans and strategies for the restoration and maintenance of historic sites
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to develop comprehensive preservation plans
- Conducting research on materials, techniques, and methods appropriate for the restoration of historic buildings
- Supervising construction projects to ensure they adhere to preservation plans and standards
- Identifying potential risks or challenges during restoration projects and developing solutions to address them
- Maintaining accurate records of restoration projects, including budgets, timelines, and material usage
- Communicating with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders regarding preservation efforts
- Keeping up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in preservation architecture

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect or relevant role
- Extensive knowledge of historic preservation techniques, materials, and methods
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations related to historic buildings
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
including clients, contractors, government agencies, etc.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other architectural software

Visa sponsorship may be provided for the right candidate. Part-time positions may also be available for exceptional candidates.
