Excavator Operator


We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Akron. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, such as excavators, to dig trenches, foundations, and other construction projects. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing the equipment as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator to perform various tasks such as digging trenches, loading trucks, and moving materials
- Follow project plans and blueprints to ensure accurate and precise excavation work
- Inspect equipment before each use and report any malfunctions or damages
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating the equipment
- Communicate with team members to coordinate excavation work with other construction tasks

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator in a construction setting
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project plans
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Knowledge of safety precautions and procedures when operating heavy machinery
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects

Preferred:
- Prior experience working on contract jobs
- Fluent in English
- Experience operating excavators for different types of projects

Salary: $1200 per month
