Instrument Technician

A reputable company in Hawalli is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial and commercial settings. This is a full-time position suitable for men with a salary of 1200$. Preference will be given to Indian nationals with English speaking abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on instruments and control systems to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and control systems
- Repair or replace faulty parts as needed
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Install new instruments as needed
- Keep detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding instrument-related issues

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermocouples, flow meters, etc.
- Familiarity with control systems such as PLCs, DCSs, SCADA, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi is a plus
