Instrument Technician



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Hawalli, Kuwait. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, level indicators, and control valves
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure accurate readings and proper functioning
- Conduct tests and inspections on new instruments before installation
- Keep accurate records of all work performed on instruments and control systems
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to design and implement new instrumentation systems
- Train new technicians on instrument installation and maintenance procedures
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in instrumentation technology

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in instrumentation is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Instrument Technician
- Strong knowledge of various types of instruments used in industrial processes
- Experience with calibration tools and techniques
- Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a plus
- Ability to read technical drawings/schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary:
Salary for this position starts at 1300$ per month depending on experience.

Location:
This position is based in Hawalli, Kuwait. Preference will be given to candidates who are already residing in Kuwait.

Nationality:
Preference will be given to Egyptian or Canadian candidates for this position.

Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is required for this position.

Experience Level:
This position is open to candidates without prior experience. However, experience working with instruments or similar technical equipment is preferred.
