Senior Instrument Technician



We are hiring a Senior Instrument Technician for our growing team in Washington. As a Senior Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and calibrating various instruments and equipment used in the manufacturing process. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments and equipment
- Perform repairs or replacements as needed to ensure proper functioning
- Calibrate instruments according to specifications and standards
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve technical issues
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies related to instrument technology
- Train and mentor junior technicians as needed

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Instrument Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of instrument repair, maintenance, and calibration techniques
- Experience working with various types of instrumentation such as pressure gauges, thermocouples, flow meters, etc.
- Knowledge of industry safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with PLC programming
