Job Title: Crane Operator


We are hiring a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift and move heavy materials and equipment on construction sites, ports, and other industrial settings. You must have experience in operating both mobile and tower cranes.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes including mobile and tower cranes according to safety standards
- Inspect crane before use and report any malfunctions or damages to the supervisor
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating the crane
- Lift and move heavy materials and equipment using the crane
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication
- Maintain accurate records of materials lifted and moved by the crane
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane as needed
- Monitor weather conditions that may affect lifting operations
- Ensure that loads are properly secured before lifting them

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator in construction or industrial settings
- Valid certification to operate different types of cranes
- Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines for operating cranes
- Ability to read and interpret load charts
- Good hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and spatial awareness
- Physically fit with good stamina as the job requires standing for long periods of time
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Team player with good communication skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
