Smelter Operator


We are currently seeking a skilled Smelter Operator to join our team in Osijek. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment to melt and refine metal ores into usable forms. This is a contract job with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment such as furnaces, converters, and converters
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and flow rate of smelting process
- Add chemicals and fluxes to molten metal to remove impurities
- Control pouring of molten metal into molds
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot and fix any issues that may arise during the smelting process

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Smelter Operator
- Knowledge of different types of metals, alloys, and their properties
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina as the job may require heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
- Must have own accommodation in Osijek or be willing to relocate without accommodation provided
