Milling Machine Operator


We are currently hiring for a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating our milling machines to produce high-quality products according to specifications. This is a contract position with a salary of $900 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to perform various machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the requirements for each job
- Select the appropriate tools, materials, and speeds for each job
- Monitor machine operations to ensure that products are being produced according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and make repairs as needed

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Biometric passport required
- Must be able to work on an urgent basis if needed
