We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Shan, Egypt or Kenya. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text, images, and other elements to create visually appealing and readable documents. This role requires attention to detail, strong typography skills, and experience with design software such as Adobe InDesign.

Responsibilities:
- Format text, images, tables, and other elements according to design guidelines
- Ensure consistency in style, font usage, and layout throughout the document
- Proofread and correct errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting
- Collaborate with designers and editors to ensure high-quality final products
- Use design software such as Adobe InDesign to create print-ready documents
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in using design software such as Adobe InDesign
- Strong understanding of typography principles and layout design
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text and formatting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Biometric passport for travel within Africa (if not based in Egypt or Kenya)

Salary: $1800 per month

Location: Shan (Egypt or Kenya preferred)
