Mason - Isa Town



A reputable construction company is seeking a skilled Mason to join our team in Isa Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and repairing structures using various materials, such as brick, stone, and concrete. The Mason will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure high-quality and timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities:
- Lay out plans for masonry projects and accurately measure materials needed
- Mix and apply mortar or other adhesives to secure bricks or stones in place
- Cut and shape bricks or stones to fit specific patterns or designs
- Repair damaged masonry structures, including chimneys, walls, and floors
- Install fireplaces, chimneys, retaining walls, and other masonry features
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents on job sites

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in masonry preferred
- Proven work experience as a Mason; portfolio of completed projects is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical plans accurately
- Familiarity with different types of masonry materials and their applications
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and precision in measuring and cutting materials
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this full-time position. Other benefits include health insurance coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
