As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all cash and credit transactions in a fast-paced environment. Your primary role will be to provide exceptional customer service while accurately processing sales and returns.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and provide efficient service at the checkout counter
- Scan items, process payments, and issue receipts accurately using a POS system
- Handle cash transactions including giving change and processing credit/debit card payments
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer questions regarding products, prices, and store policies
- Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged and priced
- Assist with stocking shelves, restocking supplies, and general store upkeep as needed
- Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
