Senior Accountant


As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of our company in Manama. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic financial advice to the management team. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, and provide insights to improve the company's profitability
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a regular basis
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Participate in the month-end closing process
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or ACCA certification preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the MENA region
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (SAP or QuickBooks)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS principles and local tax laws
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1300$ per month along with benefits such as health insurance, annual leave, and performance bonuses.

Location:
