Back-End Developer


We are hiring a Back-End Developer to join our growing team in St. Petersburg. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications and ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with our front-end developers and designers to create user-friendly and innovative interfaces.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side code for our web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during development or in production
- Optimize application performance by implementing best practices and continuously improving codebase
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)

Salary: $1300 per month

Location: St. Petersburg, Russia

Note: This is a contract job open for Indian nationals who have their own visa. This is an urgent requirement so immediate availability is preferred.
