Puncher - Metal Fabrication Specialist

Our metal fabrication company in Zagreb is seeking an experienced Puncher to join our team. As a Puncher, you will be responsible for punching holes and shapes into metal sheets and plates according to precise measurements. This is a contract position with competitive pay and the opportunity for growth within our company.

Responsibilities:
- Operate punch press machine to punch holes and shapes in metal sheets and plates
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine punching requirements
- Measure and mark dimensions on workpieces using rulers, calipers, protractors, or templates
- Adjust machine settings to ensure precise punching as per specifications
- Monitor machine operation to detect any malfunctions or defects
- Inspect finished products for quality control before handing off to next stage of production
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while operating machinery

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Puncher in a metal fabrication setting
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to accurately measure dimensions using various tools
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Familiarity with punch press machines and their operation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player
- Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably
- Must have own visa or valid work permit for employment in Zagreb
