Librarian for Women's Library in Al-Malikiyah, Iraq

We are hiring a Librarian to manage our Women's Library in Al-Malikiyah, Iraq. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a library setting and hold a degree in Library Science or a related field. As Librarian, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining our collection of books and resources, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and coordinating library programs and events. This role also includes providing guidance and support to library assistants and volunteers.

The successful candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. Experience with cataloging systems and knowledge of current library trends is preferred. In addition, the ability to work effectively with diverse communities and promote literacy initiatives is essential.

This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. The salary for this role is $1500 per month.
