Welder for a Steel Manufacturing Company in Ajman, United Arab Emirates

Our steel manufacturing company in Ajman is currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating steel structures according to specifications and blueprints. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using measuring tools
- Operate welding equipment to weld steel components together
- Inspect welded joints and structures for accuracy and quality
- Repair any defective or damaged parts using appropriate welding techniques
- Maintain clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- At least 2 years of experience as a Welder in a steel manufacturing or construction environment
- Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored arc welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different types of metal and their properties
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Are Canadian or Filipino nationals
- Have previous experience working in the United Arab Emirates or other Gulf countries
- Are fluent in English
