Head Chef
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our dynamic team in Izhevsk, Russia. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management. You will also be responsible for managing and training kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently delivered to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create menus that reflect the restaurant's culinary concept and appeal to customers
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Monitor portion control, quality standards, and food cost
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of all food items
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with management to create specials or promotions for the restaurant
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new cooking techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, ingredients, and equipment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team effectively
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with staff and management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Creativity in menu planning and ability to develop new dishes
- Knowledge of health codes and safety standards
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
