Administrative Assistant
As an Administrative Assistant in our busy office, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You will work closely with the office manager and other team members to handle a variety of tasks, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing files and documents, and coordinating meetings and events. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as strong communication abilities. This position is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced administrative role.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Organize and maintain files and documents
- Prepare reports, memos, and other documents as needed
- Coordinate meetings and events
- Assist with budget tracking and expense reports
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail/packages
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, filing, etc.
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients, colleagues and vendors
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion
Salary: $1800 per month
Location: Salalah, Oman (Preference for Indian candidates)
This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) but has the potential for full-time hours in the future.
