Administrative Assistant in Salalah, Oman
We are searching for a competent and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Salalah, Oman. This position is open to all nationalities, but we prefer candidates from India. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the office. Your main duties will include organizing and maintaining files, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls and emails, and assisting with general office tasks as needed.
Our ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task effectively. You should also have good communication skills and be comfortable working with people from different backgrounds. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
This is a contract position that offers a salary of 1400$ per month with no accommodation provided. However, we do offer visa sponsorship for the right candidate. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable administrative experience in a diverse and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Answer phone calls and emails in a timely manner
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Assist with general office tasks such as photocopying, filing, etc.
- Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Multitasking abilities and a positive attitude
- Must be fluent in English and Hindi; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
