Pastry Chef
As a highly skilled Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. Your creativity and attention to detail will help elevate our pastry selection and satisfy our customers' cravings. You must have a passion for baking and a strong understanding of flavor combinations to excel in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and executing pastry menu items with precision and creativity
- Overseeing the preparation and production of all pastry items
- Maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all pastries
- Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Training and supervising junior pastry chefs
- Ensuring adherence to food safety regulations
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to create new dessert offerings
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing any special requests or concerns related to pastries
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high volume restaurant or bakery
- Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate team members
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
Salary: $1200 per month
Location: Lom, Bulgaria
Preference given to Indian nationals. English fluency required.
