Executive Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Vianden. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and creating delicious and innovative dishes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring that all meals are prepared to perfection
- Develop menus that showcase local flavors while also catering to dietary restrictions and special requests
- Manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain budget to ensure efficient operations
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure a high level of productivity, teamwork, and professionalism
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in accordance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to implement new ideas for improving the dining experience for our guests
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking techniques, methods, and best practices
- Ability to create unique dishes while also adhering to menu standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Vianden (accommodation not provided)
Employment Type: Full-time
Note: Preference will be given to Malayalee candidates. Candidates must have their own visa/work permit.
