Cashier for a Retail Store in Muscat, Oman

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team at a retail store in Muscat. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash and credit card payments accurately
- Count and reconcile daily cash register receipts
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Follow proper cash handling procedures and security measures
- Assist with inventory management as needed
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cashier is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Malayalam is an advantage)
- Must have own visa or be willing to obtain one
- Available to work flexible hours, including weekends
